[ when ana opens the door, she still has her head bandage in tact, but she's also got one wrapped around her neck now. her eyes are a little puffy. still, she gives lance the best smile she can muster. ]

Hello, Lance! Please, come in and make yourself at home.

[ her dorm is pretty clean, actually. everything that would have been a potential roommate's is left untouched. ]

[Oh, she does...not look great.

Lance gives her a sympathetic look, stepping in to her dorm.]

You need anything? I didn't bring anything with me, but...

[He could go get something! If she needed it!]

[ there's also a small bouquet of get well flowers on her desk. seems like she had a visitor earlier! ]

Just having your company is more than enough for me. I should be the one asking you if you need anything, actually...

[He gives her a Look.]

I'm not the one who just got attacked by a vampire. You sure you're okay?

[ she goes to sit down at the edge of her bed and nods. ]

I should be. I didn't lose too much blood and I'm certainly not turning. Things could be worse.

[He hovers for a moment, before sitting down across from her on the empty bed.]

I'm glad you're okay.

[highelves]

...Thank you.

[ hearing that people are glad she's alright is...really something. it makes her heart feel warm in a way she doesn't quite understand. being cared for by the people she's met here means more to her than she can say; more than she knows, and she crosses her legs. ]

So. Now that you're here, what would you like to do?

[Lance raises his eyebrows at that, but he doesn't say anything about it.

He leans back on the empty bed, tilting his head.]

Well, I figured I can at least keep you company. That shouldn't be too hard.

[highelves]

Oh, well...

[ she feels bad?? like, he came all this way here and she shouldn't just bore him but all she has are books... no board games or anything...rip. ]

That's very considerate of you. And this time, we won't have any alcohol.

[ she laughs.... ]

I think things are better without it.

Oh, absolutely. That certainly was...a time, wasn't it?

[ she huffs a little. ]

I'm fairly certain I was hungover the next morning. [ ... ] It was fun, though. Not the hangover, of course -- the dancing.

I don't know if that really counted as dancing.

[He smirks.]

But it was fun, though. Even if the next morning was a little rough.

[ she chuckles, bringing her legs up onto her bed. she hugs her knees to her chest. ]

It was. Now I know not to try the punch at prom next year, at least. ... Though, there is something I've been meaning to ask you...

[He tilts his head.]

There's no pressure to do so of course, but... If you'd like to sometime, I'd like a redo of that night.

Yeah, sure, I could go for a redo on the dancing.
