[He chuckles softly, and...he doesn't know what to say. He doesn't know how to articulate the feelings he has. It hasn't been very long at all since he's met Ana, but something about her has just...overwhelmed him.

He's used to getting crushes on girls, on finding them cute or clever or charming, but he's not used to things like this. Things that feel like they mean so much more.]

[ she's never really had a crush on anyone before, but this is far from being a just a crush, she thinks. it's more than that. in the short time she's known lance, he's made more of an impact on her than her so-called family of 17 years ever did.

she leans in to press a soft, lingering kiss to his lips. ]

[He kisses her back just as softly, leaning into the motion.

He...doesn't know what to do, truly. He's just sort of making it up as he goes along. Which is working, it seems, but he has no idea what he's doing right or when he's going to do something wrong. This is all just...so, so much.]

[ she's scared of messing things up, too. she's scared that she's going to let her insecurities get the best of her one day and she'll push him away. right now, though, she feels content.

she pulls away, just slightly, and laughs softly. ]

[Together, they'll get through it. Just like Lance said.

He chuckles alongside her, shaking his head.]

[ she can't help it; she lifts her hand and cups his cheek, brushing her thumb softly over his skin. it's so soft...!

she leans her forehead against his, smiling. ]

It truly is.

[He puts a lot of work into his skin! Of course it's soft!]

[He pauses, starts over.]

I'm not used to feeling like this.

Mm?

[ she looks at him curiously. ]

Like what, if I may ask?

[His cheeks start going red.]

Like I'm witnessing something amazing.

[ she blinks. ]

What do you mean?

Well...You know. Like when you're watching a sunrise - it's just beautiful and wonderful and you really feel it, you know?

Are you...talking about us?

[ she's turning so red... ]

What else would I be talking about?

[Ana, please.]

[highelves]

[ she can't help but chuckle a little at that. ]

I apologize, it's just... This is too good to be true.

Maybe a little. [He huffs, amused.] But this is definitely real.

[ she grins and curls up against him, holding her knees to her chest. ]

I'm very grateful that it is. [ she presses a kiss to his cheek. ] I like spending time with you like this.

[He raises an arm, wrapping it around her shoulders.]

I'm glad I get to spend time like this with you. I can't think of anything better.

[ he's so sweet... ana smiles up at him and leans up again. ]

Kiss?

As many as you want.

[He presses a kiss to her lips, soft and sweet. He doesn't think he'd ever get tired of this.]

[ he's too good to her. ana smiles and kisses him back softly, smiling into the kiss.

she pulls away and moves in closer, putting her legs over his lap so she can get close to him. ]

Um...is this alright?

[Oh.

Oh, man. This is...this is good, he thinks. It's very intimate.]

Yeah, yeah, of course it is.

[He's pretty sure anything she does would be okay with him.]

[ she's blushing kind of a lot, but it's fine because lance is comfortable. she smiles and laughs a little. ]

Good. Now...where were we?

[ she leans in to kiss him again, a little deeper. ]

[Lance has made out with girls before. He's not a stranger to kissing. But he feels so out of his depth, with Ana, who has no idea what she's doing to him.

He responds to her kiss eagerly, pressing in close. This is good, he thinks.]

[ she's glad he seems to be so enthusiastic about it. she responds by leaning in closer, her hand coming up to cup his cheek again. it's really nice, but it's also overwhelming for her too. their kisses just a few days ago were so light and soft and sweet. these are still sweet, but there's more of a quiet fire behind them; ana may not be able to find the words to describe how she feels, so she's hoping her kisses can. ]
